The current period of social, cultural and political flux is the right time for collaborations that intersect with and bridge art and social care. The EXPLORERS project facilitates interaction between the staff teams of cultural organisations, social care agencies and neurodiverse communities.
Project Art Works has created a detailed survey of social care providers, agencies and contacts within a 5 mile radius of each of the EXPLORERS partner organisations. The mapping of local social care sectors will increase awareness within organisations about complex needs and enables them to understand the particular demographics of social care in their area leading to positive connections with individuals and providers as part of EXPLORERS and for legacy programmes.
